Meet the Authors

Efia Howard is an advocate who believes that sharing honest stories can help make the world a gentler place. She was inspired to write Mummy, Endo and Me based on her own experiences navigating chronic illness. Efia hopes this book gives families the words they need to talk about invisible pain and remind children that the strongest thing they can have is love. Efia lives in England with her resilient daughter, whose strength has been a source of encouragement and inspiration to her.

Adjoa Howard, whose experiences inspired this book, is a curious and bubbly 8-year-old. She loves singing and performing arts. Her dream is to become a surgeon one day so she can take away all her mother’s pain.

Mission

Our mission is to bridge the generational gap on women's health topics through honest conversation, accessible resources, and shared experiences

We recognise the immense challenge of parenting while navigating debilitating conditions like Endometriosis, Fibroids, PCOS, and challenges related to fertility and general wellness. We firmly believe that no family should feel alone on this journey.

We understand that chronic pain resulting from women’s health conditions are not just a personal struggle; it is a family health issue that affects a mother’s ability to engage fully, consistently, and without pain.
